Religious Services
Chaplain services at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center are provided by volunteers,
community organizations, and churches throughout Richland County. The activities of
religious services are coordinated by the Captain of Inmate Programs and Services.
The Detention Center is always looking for volunteers to enhance its inmate programs
and services. Should you be interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the
Captain of Inmate Programs and Services at the below number or address.
Please keep in mind that all volunteers are rigorously screened. You will be required
to sign a wavier to have a thorough background investigation conducted on you.
